Today I read more about usefull modules, I also started searching on the modules pages on drupal.org
So far I installed the following modules:
I will be looking into more modules and try them out here. After these relatively simple tasks, I'll start theming and writing custom code. And who knows, I might be ending up with my own modules.

I tried pathauto before on another site, but I couldn't enable clean urls back then. Luckily this time it went smooth. I installed the modules pathauto, token and path. I enabled clean urls and this time the test went without a problem.

Finally I had the time to install drupal. Right now I did set up a simple blog with a downloaded theme. The next few weeks/months I'm going to dive into the magical drupal world.
